The Sea Haven Shelter is a residential home, licensed by the South Carolina Department of Social Services, in which youth ages 13-17 needing short term shelter can live temporarily. The shelter is a family style household with a structured environment and daily activities for the youth in residence. 

24 hour awake supervision by mature experienced staff
Enrollment and supervised attendance in the public school
Supervised educational and recreational field trips
Family, individual, and group guidance sessions
Opportunities to participate in community service activities
Homeless/Runaway youth referrals can stay up to 21 days if needed
Referral sources: Parents, Department of Junenile Justice, Law Enforcement, Schools, Churches, Safe Place Sites
Counseling for program and non-program youth in the form of individual, group, or family services.

Activities such as arts, crafts, music, community events to promote positive youth development.
Job readiness program - Sea Haven Shelter offers two job readiness components that take place in-house weekly and the Palmetto Goodwill Employable Job Center bi-weekly. These components include: Essential Tools, Hurdles, Introductions to Resume Writing, Creating a Resume, Art of Interviewing, and Mock Interviewing.
Tutoring, access to GED training on-site, virtual learning and online classes available if applicable.
